The Empty Head Theater Company is seeking new work for our annual Out of the Box Short Play Festival, taking place: August 28–29 & September 3, 4, 5 @ The Ellis – Newburgh, NY.
We are looking for original plays 30–40 minutes in length. Selected works will be developed in collaboration with our ensemble through a workshop process leading to full production.
We are specifically seeking plays of a social and political nature, engaging with issues affecting the local community of Newburgh as well as the broader challenges we face globally—think global, act local.
